85/100
• High-quality progressive house, with a hypnotic melody
• Excellent vocal performance by Alicia Madison
• Delicate approach, focused on sweetness
Returning with full impact, the renowned Dutch star Suyano has shown strong significant growth as expected. This time, he has successfully collaborated with Australian talent No Class, featuring the delightful and mesmerizing voice of US-based Alicia Madison. The resultant progressive concoction has been christened “Night Like This”, which engages the listener with hypnotic vibes to an impressive extent!
After giving an intense remix to Enhanced Recordings released the single “Say My Name”, Suyano kept a brief hiatus signalling his evident hard work in the studio. Just last year, we saw him revamp the delectable song “Insanity” (made by Rooverb & Alan Crown, voiced by the same vocalist) into a vibrant and kinetic remix. It was instantly a hit, gathering a striking figure of eight million listens on Spotify itself. Plus, it conquered its position on the charts for a hefty amount of time. However, the youngster doesn’t seem a bit out of touch or tired with this new single, as he delivers another solid instrumental.
Starting with the breakdown, we have not a single complaint. Alicia Madison did her magic, leading the subtle background elements without losing harmony. We already know her speciality towards dance music, hence no comments further. Matters escalate as the riser approaches, sweeping up swiftly enough for the drop to hit the sweet spot. Consisting of signature lead synths, the tantalizing drop further keeps an elegant groove and rhythm, supplemented by snare hitting every alternate second without failing.
This deliberate slowness, as said, lets the melody unravel and rope in attention as soon it materializes. ‘A+” work by this, as they ended up making something instantly charming and enchanting!
Summarising, the praise in this article may seem slightly exaggerated, but trust us, this splendid tune is definitely not to be missed or skipped!
