LNY TNZ x Ruthless x The Kemist – Rebels Of A Nation

77/100

There is hardstyle on Spinnin, and like a fast and hungry hawk, EDM Reviewer is on it! The new awesome collab between the duo LNY TNZ, Ruthless and the vocalist The Kemist amazed us… A breath of fresh (and aggressive) air for the Dutch label!

Unexpectedly, the best performer here, for us, it’s The Kemist. Usually, EDM fans ignore the work of vocalists in songs, but this time we can’t forget how exciting and catchy is the Jamaican artist’s voice! It’s not the first time we congratulate with him because of his vocals, the combo LNY TNZ-Ruthless-The Kemist already worked in a fantastic way twice (“Fired Up” and “We Don’t Care“, both on Barong Family). It has the right catchiness mixed with a reggaeish vibe and it’s not the first time we noticed that!

This time, The Kemist brought a more delicate and hypnotic mood than usual (you can notice it in the drop)… It manages to be even “sweet” during certain parts!

But we must add LNY TNZ and Ruthless didn’t disappoint as well! Being straight, their base is a smashing hardstyle production, which keeps a calm tone but brings powerful and entertaining vibes on the table during the drops. It’s a good approach for Spinnin’ because fans are not used to hyperaggressive stuff!

The break is also unexpectedly calm, capable to rise the climax in an elegant way… The melody, incredibly catchy and well modulated, it’s clear and explosive. Technically, this collab has an excellent musical quality that amazed us!

“Rebels Of A Nation” has a great message and a classic emotional yet brutal hardstyle base supporting it. We felt the desire of the artists to bring something unusual into Spinnin, to fight for the hardstyle nation. It worked. Balancing the explosive hardstyle with a sweeter vocal than usual and a break that blinks an eye to “classic” EDM, this group of talents made it. Again.

Congratulations, “Rebel Of A Nation” is what Spinnin’ needs for introducing hardstyle… A great beginning! Let’s hope to see further follow-ups (and maybe the three names together for the fourth time) in the future!
