The month of May saw various artists experimenting with their signature sounds, and the results have been quite interesting. But as the next month makes its way, we have well-known American DJ/Producer Paris Blohm test his mettle in crafting an explosive Big Room house tune. He has been significantly famous for his melodic and progressive works, but this time he showcased his versatility.
The tune we will be talking about today has also been voiced by the talented Ēnok, titled “Silently”.
Going back two months prior today, on 2nd or March, we were finally convinced that Paris Blohm was back to what he is best known for: progressive house. Returning to the esteemed Dutch Label “Revealed Recordings”, the single was named “Body High” along with Myah Marie. The following month of April unveiled his second record for this year, “Save Us“. Also, featuring the charming voice of Ēnok, this single acclaimed appreciation. The chemistry of the dynamic instrumental proved to be splendid, and hence it was obvious that another follow-up track was to succeed this.
While we got a good glimpse of this song as Paris teased it in social media, we were stoked to listen to the final version. The breakdown starts with the warm vocal, building up the tension. Striding with energy, it continues to escalate towards the snare riser to elevate into the drop. Kicking in with acid like electro synths, a paced riff plays out in a snazzy manner. Even with its efficiency, the drop feels slightly generic and predictable for us. But from a different perspective, Parish Blohm did a good job in crafting a festival-compatible drop. Let’s not forget that this is his first experiment with the genre, and the result is a good tune for festivals and clubs!
All in all, “Silently” leaves a nice impression and doesn’t falter to deliver what we expected eagerly.
