After starting this year in a phenomenal manner, Dutch prodigy Maurice West is for sure an unstoppable and driving force to be reckoned with. This talented youngster has already sky-rocketed into the dance scene with his splendid records, showcasing his promising and limitless potential. This Monday, he unveiled another show-stopper production, which has already garnered attention with its ensnaring ingredients. Named “Robots In Love”, this lively and vibrant anthem has surely toppled countless dance-floors upside down!
The earlier work from Maurice was, in no doubt, another fitting work for the esteemed label of Mainstage. Teaming up with the Hungarian power-duo SaberZ resulted in a melodic yet smashing Electro House song, which was a modern remake of the 90s super-hit “Rhythm Of The Night”. It remains clear that Maurice surely values creativity and experiments, even if it leads to compromise of quantity. The particular latest release we will be talking about today is not an iota less of fresh and engaging harmonics and is bound to impress all variety of listeners.
One of the biggest stand-out features of this track is the hypnotic melody it has.
While carrying hints of funky nature, it also emphasizes on a certain mix of nostalgia and liveliness. And it gets even better! While the breakdown presents it with a peculiar but catchy synth, the following drop extends the melody’s power and energy, transforming it into an uplifting and atmospheric drop! The sound selection scores major points undoubtedly. But it does not end with this, the next segment presents retro-ish vibes, with synth-wave inspired breakdown components. This definitely enhances the nuances of this song, and at the same time, making the oncoming drop anticipated. Speaking of the drop, we were left speechless ourselves. Utilizing the familiar signature super-saw synths and dynamic bassline, it exceeds expectations in a snap!
All in all, “Robots In Love” is a genuine and strapping work, capable of delivering wherever it is played.
