The Dutch master-label Revealed Recordings are leaving no stones unturned. Impressing their fan-base with quality and engaging releases, the record label is publishing festival-reeking materials without falter. Today, we have another uplifting and anthem-like release from none other than the Swedish mastermind, Kaaze. Showcasing his unique and rare talent of crafting some of the best progressive house productions, the Swede has also shown his versatility by releasing “Opera” and “Sexy” in the past few months. Imposing with his groovier and Electro side, he has returned to Progressive. This new song, titled “I’m Coming Home” definitely tops as one of the best from Kaaze.
Many of our readers might be knowing that the “Triplet” was unveiled a year ago. It is composed of epic melodies, soaring synths and a rushing backdrop: the elemental hallmark of the beautiful genre of Progressive House. While the particular track we are talking of, may not be as intense or vibrant as the former, but it carries a streak of energy and the sentiments embedded in that.
In few words, analogous schematics of both the records add a hint of excitement, nominating “I’m Coming Home” as a proper follow-up of the “Triplet”.
Starting with the atmospheric and emotional breakdown, the song introduces an alluring female voice, which adds up to the feel-good vibes. It slightly reminds us “Coming Home” by Skylar Grey because of the delicate tone and the words, but KAAZE added something more here. Complimenting the vocal are orchestral inspired background, consisting of pads and strings. But this is not the part where the riser materializes, but the attention-grabbing melody. This melody gets played by a synonymous and signature synth, enhancing the specific nuances even more. Preceding after this is the riser, which adeptly transitions to the powerful and irresistible drop. Striding in with the intensified versions of the breakdown synths, the drop at once feels symmetrical to “Triplet”. However, this plays as an advantage here, embedding ensnaring and heart-racing harmonics.
“I’m Coming Home” is another delightful and spirited work from Kaaze, and without much doubt, it puts him in the spotlight for his inimitable production skills.
