DJ Snake and Lauv finally made a track together, “A Different Way”!
I classified it as “chilly”, but the right genre should be “commercial pop”.
Anyway, I loved the versatility that the French producer has, I wasn’t expecting that! Well, kinda.
The drop has the DJ Snake vocal chopped sound in it, but obviously, Lauv heavily influenced it.

After the announcement by the American Lauv, a guy that he’s getting a lot of success during 2017, and the legendary DJ Snake, the hype was really high. I was curious to hear the result of their work, and I’m pretty satisfied. I honestly would have liked more DJ Snake style in the track, it seems pretty unbalanced (70% by Lauv)… DJ Snake often experiments with chill music, but I still don’t consider it as “his real sound”.

It has a chilly Lauv mood, as predicted, and that strange drop that makes the tune unique. It is a genial idea, because even if the break is really commercial (and quite generic), at the end you must admit that it’s a fresh tune. The right hit for radios, but with a creative idea, not the usual unoriginal music.

That’s why I respect “A Different Way”, and I heavily suggest checking it out. It’s a nice production, very relaxing and catchy… Once again, DJ Snake dropped something good!
