Finally, some real progressive house to review! Dubvision needs no introduction, they are famous for what they contributed to the major genre in Dance music, progressive house. If you have been missing or craving for a summer inspired progressive house, the right tune has arrived at the last minutes of summer to help you dance and groove all weekend. “Paradise” is here!
The best thing I loved about “Paradise” was how Dubvision have equipped a 2012-13 progressive house vibe… Without making it an iota of plain and lifeless, which most of the contemporary progressive house tracks do! This track has a beautiful epic melody with epic basslines, and of course, we cannot forget the catchy breakdown.
The track starts with an R&B vocal, having a radio effect on it. A bit muffled, but it adds that slight elegant charm. Percussions come in few seconds to give a catchy breakbeat, smoothly and effortlessly introducing the pluck. The pluck can be described as basic electro pluck, the signature progressive house one, but in “Paradise”, it does the trick. And I have no words for the melody it plays, exceptionally great!
The riser comes in and slowly gliding up to the bring the massive drop.
The drop is really momentous and dynamic. With classical progressive house saw synths soaring and dominating, backed with solid raving basslines, it fits the perfect progressive house drop we all fancy for.
Then, it goes down and silence prevails for few brief seconds to bring up the same vocal.
“Paradise” is definitely is an exquisite production from this well renowned progressive duo, and I sincerely hope they continue releasing this kind of tracks. Amazing will be the only word that describes this track aptly.
