Today I chose something chilly, a nice release from Firebeatz called “Till The Sun Comes Up”.
The Dutch duo is back with a summer release, emotional and romantic, published by their new label, called Ignite Records. Even if it’s still a newborn label, it’s becoming quite interesting!
Sure, we are far from the old Firebeatz style, completely far, but that doesn’t mean that the tune is bad! It’s just something more intimate than usual, and I personally liked it, whoever is the author.
Featuring a catchy vocal from the singer Vertel, the calm deep house production has a hypnotic rhythm that amazed me.
The intro is immediately interesting: Vertel vocal starts playing, with a lovely piano melody in the background. Suddenly the future house chords enter into the mix, creating a groovy drop which is the fundamental element of the tune. Then, “Till The Sun Comes Up” features some crazy vocal chops, but just for few seconds, unfortunately.
And that’s all. It’s a simple production, made for the summer, with a basic scheme but a lot of talent inside. It’s hard for me to appreciate this kind of music, but the magic rhythm and the sublime vocal helped me with that.
Firebeatz showed that they are able to produce different kinds of EDM, and they are good in doing that! “Till The Sun Comes Up” is absolutely a fresh song, enjoyable and relaxing.
The video is really cool too, featuring the beautiful model Amanda Riley Ferree, I suggest to watch it because I loved the colors, the editing, and (obviously), the protagonist.
