Boom!! Summer is almost here, and lots of producers are now fighting for making the prestigious “hit of the season“. Between all types of interesting (and not that interesting) and innovative (literal needles in a haystack, aha) proposals made by various types of producers, Garmiani is always a man to take in consideration, and now he is showing us his main weapon for this season.
If you liked the instrumental version of “BARRACA”, then you’ll love this one, because the summerish vocals of Mc Pikachu give it some extra freshness and dynamism, at least that’s my point of view. Being faithful to his characteristic style, Garmiani starts the first break bringing us that Latin vibes that his fans loves, creating a danceable atmosphere with rhythmic pianos and groovy percussions. Later on, some snares announce the start of a classical Garmiani build up, uplifting the track in a great way without overcharging it with lots of fx and effects.
Besides his ability for creating versatile tracks that work well in both the radio and the club, the Swedish producer is an expert crafting brutal drops, and this one is not an exception. Some tribal snares take over the whole section, being reinforced by a punchy kick and a strong bass. If this was not enough for you, don’t worry, because in the second part of the drop the bass melody changes, adding some extra movement and surprising us with that extra detail.
I’m sure I’m not wrong if I say that we are going to hear “BARRACA” in almost every festival this summer, and in my opinion, it really deserves it. It’s difficult to find the right balance between making something commercial and festival friendly at the same time, and Garmiani has been doing so for quite some time right now. Keeping this in mind, we can just enjoy the song and wait for some months to see what happens. Maybe we are facing the summer hit of 2019.
