Our first article for this month will be divulging on the debut single from the Dutch quad Metafo4r, consisting of the talented duos Dubvision and Firebeatz. Mashing and amalgamating their signature sounds, they have crafted a unique and intense song for relish, containing vocal hooks and dynamic synth lines. Titled as “Best Part Of Me”, it has been released yesterday under the mega-label Spinnin Records.
The heated month of July saw the unveiling of “Remember Who You Are“, by both halves of Metafo4r. However, the single, when released, featured only Firebeatz as the main artist. It was obvious Dubvision worked on the production part, as it resonated in the track. Fans couldn’t mistake it, and expected the newly announced project to reveal a single anytime. After rocking multiple IDs in their Tomorrowland set, the audience were convinced for a new song to come out sooner than expected, and they were proven right. “Best Part Of Me” fulfils the criteria we were anxious about, following progressive house schematic with no compromise on energy or melodic factor, whatsoever.
Kick-starting with the male vocal, the breakdown focuses on emphasising the surrounding atmosphere with simplistic Arp and plucks. As it progresses, the vocal gains chorus and vigour, elevating the tone. Brief snare riser materialises quickly into the scene, uplifting into the elegant and vibrant drop. Bursting in with vigour, the drop utilizes distorted bassline and hooking rhythm. The melody plays out with shuffling style, giving space to the underneath elements efficiently. Not only the production quality, but the total idea reverberates with liveliness and punch!
In a few words, “Best Part Of Me” further excites the crowd for the upcoming works from the squad, as it demonstrates their proficiency together as a group.
