If you are a dance music listener and already started to lament on the ending of World Cup, shed your worries like a snake’s skin! This month is proving to be even better with new releases from renowned artists like Sick Individuals, Audien, Seven Lions and many others. But for this piece of writing, we will singularly focus on the dynamic Dutch duo DubVision, who have returned with gusto and flair. Their new single is even more alluring and energetic, titled “Steal The Moon”. Released in Armada, this tune is bound to energise you.
Now time for a brief synopsis. The Netherlands based pair have been unequivocally working hard in the studio with new productions, as they continue to deliver delectable songs without break. Recently announcing their new initiative “Meta4r” with native stage act Firebeatz, they tantalised audience with IDs and new songs. Their preceding single was with the above mentioned, titled “Remember Who You Are”. However, after the release, to some disappointment Dubvision weren’t strangely mentioned in the title. Nonetheless, we strongly believe that it might be re-released under Meta4r, in the coming future.
Reverting to our topic, “Steal The Moon” does not fade away with dearth of signature sound or stamina. It starts with breakdown, which is accompanied by a charming and hypnotic male vocal. This voice plays a major role, as it adds to the atmosphere vibe and tone. But the following segment of drop astonishes even more, with vibrant melody supported with opulent synth-line. Added to that, the groove gets slightly unique with snare complementing the beat, making it fresher and kinetic. The slightly slower pace makes it elegant nonetheless, enhancing the subtleties with precision.
Summarising, “Steal The Moon” creates a mesmerising impression as expected from any of DubVision’s work. An absolute delight of a work to relished by ears!
