Known for their distinctive speciality in the beautiful genre of progressive house, Dutch prodigies Dubvision have revealed an enticing collaboration with the uprising Korean talent Raiden, which has been christened “Keep My Light On”. Released on the eminent label STMPD Records, founded by Garrix, this enchanting and uplifting production ensures to ensnare the listener with its powerful features.
An unexpected collaboration creates a lot of anticipations for the listeners. This team-up, however, does guarantees a melodic and sublime release. Dubvision provided majorly appreciated tunes like “New Memories” & “Paradise” in 2017, and on the other hand Raiden stepped up with his adept works including “Heart Of Steel”, “Acid Love” & “C’est La Vibe”.
Coming to the track, the breakdown generates a lot of emotions. Presenting an intense piano melody, a charming male vocal takes the stage. Unarguably, the chemistry formed between this two elements is magnetic. Escalating with precision, the breakdown presents the chorus as the riser intensifies to transition into the fascinating drop.
The instance the drop hits, the track ascends to another energy level. Rushing progressive synths play over a dreamy yet lively melody as the adept backdrop embeds power to the overall drop. Supplementing the necessary dynamism, this part is impressively well-made!
Summing up, “Keep The Light On” is unfalteringly an intriguing and remarkable work from this trio. A dynamic song, emotional yet energetic enough, fuses the two styles of the artists involved and delivers another splendid progressive result to the scene.
STMPD is quickly gaining a lot of good releases, and it’s important for it. It needs to eliminate the prejudice of “being famous only because Martin Garrix founded it”, with this kind of great music from different artists. Good work!
