The first week of January showcased amazing releases from many artists across labels. Armada, last Monday, revealed an interesting production. British musician Leon Lour collaborated with a talented Canadian vocalist, Victoria Duffield. The result is a very interesting and exotic track, titled “All In”.
“All In” keeps a steady pace from the intro, with a catchy upbeat groove. Starting with an electric guitar playing over with the upbeat groove, the sultry vocals take over. The striking attribute of this track is the right amount of dynamics to keep the listener hooked. Coupled with the alluring vocal, the release has a unique standing.
The drop however brings in even more movement and freshness. Keeping the subtle groove, the drop introduces a trance-y lead and sublime melody, which instantly makes it atmospheric and energetic. The innovative attribute of the drop is a great charm. Cynematic, emotional, with a slow yet hypnotic rhythm. Definitively a good idea that brings some fresh vibes to progressive house
In a nutshell, this track is a pretty solid release from Armada for the start of the year. Livens up lots of hopes and expectations from the Dutch label for 2018.
