CELL ADE Sampler

October 23, 20174 min read

CELL didn’t disappoint this year, and I’m proud to present you their ADE Sampler, full of surprises and emotions!

1. Tom Crusher & Aylen Parks – Collision

88\100

With their best work at the moment, the successful combination Tom Crusher + Aylen Parks dominated the CELL ADE Sampler. Calling “Collision” a banger is reductive, it doesn’t summarize the explosive atmosphere of this monstrous electro track.

Let’s start with the break: I have no idea about the two young talents created such an interesting part! The melody is a bit repetitive (but that’s not the objective of the song), but the screaming one-shot vocal and the massive lead managed to create a catchy structure! I loved it, especially when the buildup starts to rise, introducing the drop.

The drop’s first impression is to have a drill stuck in your ears. Kinda Botnek style, but more dynamic and energetic. “Collision” shows its best here, smashing ears and slapping heads with its enormous aggressiveness. S-U-P-E-R-L-A-T-I-V-E.

OUTRAGE & GIANTS & DVRN – Pegasus

84\100

GIANTS and OUTRAGE were two old knowledge for me, I’m glad to see that their creativity didn’t stop! This time they are back with a gigantic trance collab with DVLN, “Pegasus”. I really liked it, it was so fresh, especially because of the big room influence in vocal and drop.
The melody is spectacular and the managed well the climax. I’m really happy to see such creativity and professionality, I definitively recommend “Pegasus”! A breath of fresh air.

JuicyTrax & DirtySoul – Booty

77\100

What?
I just spent 5 mins trying to understand why Juicytraxx became JuicyTrax, but I don’t know the reasons. Anyway, their collab with DirtySoul is awesome, called “Booty”. It was at first my personal favorite, then I discovered that the drop is basically equal to a Brooks remix of “Cold”, and this detail ruined my experience. I’m pretty sure it’s a coincidence, but I still can’t listen to “Booty” without thinking about that. It’s more big room than future bounce, with the JuicyTrax aggressive sound, and a stratospheric break. I loved it, it builds a perfect climax and it’s innovative, and together with the catchy drop, they make “Booty” really enjoyable!

GLDN – Parkour

75\100

GLDN is a very versatile artist, and this time he brought us an electro/groovy track, “Parkour”. It’s in this spot of my personal top 5, but only because the other tracks were absolutely incredible, you must not undervalue it!
Apart from being a good idea and an innovative style for GLDN, its drop is fresh and well made! Bouncing and dynamic, I hope to hear more music like this, the artist managed perfectly the various elements. The melody, in particular, is tremendously hypnotic. Still, not a fan of the vocal.

WYKO & HALF – Karbon

58\100

All my respect goes to Wyko and HALF, but “Karbon” didn’t impress me. Exaggeratedly noisy, I must admit it has a huge amount of energy, but I am not comfortable with it… It’s a song that may work live, but listening to it on my earphones is another context.

While hoping to hear it live one day, at the moment “Karbon” still seems chaotic and extremely aggressive. In few words, unbalanced.

Haha Juicytrax is the artist, Juicytraxx is a label. There is no change actually! 🙂
