• Creative arrangements
• Leading vocal performance
• Melodic and distinctive drop segment
The previous Friday unveiled various releases, and today we will be talking about a promising collaboration that has happened. Released in leading Dutch label of Protocol Recordings, “Still Think Of You” has been crafted by two up and coming talents, Trilane & Loris Cimino. Both of these uprising names have lately been providing some solid tunes, and their team-up delivers even fresh and unique ideas. This Progressive production is not only subtle or sublime, but energetic enough with catchy rhythms.
Gaining a steady amount of reputation with their previous work “Bittersweet“, along with Protocol’s headman Nicky Romero, Swedish duo Trilane is striking out in this industry. The song, which released last year November, managed to get millions of plays in short duration of time period. On the other hand, Switzerland based Loris Cimino has been making a strong impact with his signature cadence and flair. His recent single “Don’t Stop” got included in Revealed’s 2019 Miami Sampler. Talking about it, it features brutish offbeat bassline, embedded with swirling heavy synths to maximize the intensity. Not only creative but equally vigorous!
Coming back to our today’s topic of discussion, the vocal from David Shane materialize with elegance. Leading the instrumental, the voice adds catchiness. To make it atmospheric, a piano plays subtly in the backdrop. Without much delay, the drop segment takes the lead, introducing chiming synth-line with punching snares. The section shares distinctiveness with the sounds and synths used, from what the typical Progressive House genre usually provides. Furthermore, the melody also adds another level of quality, hitting the high notes at the correct time.
To sum up in a few words, “Still Think Of You” ascertains alluring and dynamic vibes, at the same time having discernible signature elements. Definitely another anthem for the summer!
