• Takes the original idea and cranks the energy way up
• Bouncy Bass House drop with signature growls
• Unique vocal to work with
Deadlynoyz has been on my radar for a while now, mostly thanks to a series of pretty unhinged dubstep tracks that showed he is not afraid to go all in. So when I saw his remix of Anyma‘s “Voices In My Head”, I was genuinely curious. That original track is built on such a specific mood that it is risky territory.
If you somehow missed it, the Anyma version lives and dies by those eerie, looping voices and that dark, hypnotic techno groove. That “dudududu” motif is simple but haunting, almost ghost-like. Super memorable. I loved the vocal idea from the start, but I have to be honest: the drop never fully hit me the way I wanted it to. Atmosphere? Yes. Impact? Not quite.
That is exactly where Deadlynoyz steps in. He keeps the soul of the track intact, especially the vocal, but completely rewires the energy. The buildup is tense and well-paced, and when the drop lands, it just explodes. We are suddenly in Bass House territory, with a thick, bouncy bassline colliding with Deadlynoyz’s signature growls. It is aggressive, playful, and ridiculously addictive.
There is a short explosive section in the middle that really seals the deal for me. Everything feels oversized and slightly chaotic, but in a controlled way. The only thing I would have loved is a bit more of that iconic “dudududu” motif in the drop itself. That hook is so strong. Still, with so much going on, you barely miss it.
The original “Voices In My Head” is already a hit, no question. This Deadlynoiz remix feels like the icing on the cake. Loud, energetic, and hard to put down.
