My first time with Greek lyrics, and it works! “Eisoun Mia Parenthesi” is the Mediterranean Trance debut from S.V.M

• Mediterranean flavored Trance atmosphere
• Emotional breakdown with a soft melodic drop
• Simple structure that clicks surprisingly well

While the title of this S.V.M debut might sound a bit odd at first, do not worry, it is Greek for “Insert a Parenthesis”. The Greek-German duo comes out swinging with a Trance track that immediately stands out, not because it tries to reinvent the genre, but because of how naturally everything falls into place.

This was actually my first time listening to a track with Greek vocals, and I was not expecting how sweet the language would sound in this context. The vocal is warm, melodic, and slightly mysterious, especially if you do not understand the lyrics. It adds an exotic layer to the whole track and invites you to just chill and get lost in the atmosphere they are building. If you do speak Greek, I imagine the experience hits a bit differently, but as an outsider, that unfamiliarity is part of the charm.

Musically, “Eisoun Mia Parenthesi” stays true to classic Trance fundamentals. The structure does not throw any big surprises, but it does exactly what it needs to do. The breakdown is emotional without being overdone, giving the vocal enough space to breathe, while the drop keeps things soft, melodic, and dynamic. The plucks are sweet, the melody is catchy, and the whole section feels cohesive rather than flashy.

On a technical level, the bassline is clean and gentle, supporting the track instead of overpowering it. It is more about mood and storytelling, and that is where it succeeds.

For a debut, this is a very solid and creative statement. S.V.M clearly understands Trance and knows how to give it a personal twist without forcing it. I am curious to see where they take this sound next, but this is already a pretty strong way to start the adventure.
