Okay, the title is very funny, but that’s also the core of this album by Fancy K. “Big Booty Bounce” feels like a reminder to stop taking life too seriously, and just enjoy the music. And I really love the concept.
I was honestly expecting reggaeton when I first read the title, but that’s not what this is. It’s mostly melodic house, if you really want to label it that way—but there’s a lot more happening here. From the surprising “Make It Rain“, with touches of Future Rave, to straight-up dance tunes and a few experimental moments, this project goes far beyond what the name suggests.

The red line across it all is about having fun and experimenting, often through unexpected vocals or strange ideas that somehow click. Fancy K nailed that.
I haven’t had this much fun with an album in months… listening through it, trying to guess what’s coming next, and constantly being surprised.
Let’s see my top 3.
Hold Up
82/100
Here the melody is completely unexpected. The song evolves and plays mind tricks with a squeaky lead (slightly a’ la Deorro) and a vocoded, distorted vocal. The result is pure fun. Electro bassline, old-school background lead. Hard to tell if it’s futuristic or retro, honestly.
Go To Sleep (ft. Palisvdes)
85/100
Great bass house track with Palisvdes. You can feel the different influence here: darker overall, but Fancy K’s craziness still pops up in the background elements. The vocals fit perfectly, and the drop hits with a bouncy groove that makes it one of the album’s best surprises.
Make It Rain
88/100
Special mention for this one because it truly surprised me. After the first track “Save Me“, I wasn’t sure where the album was headed, but “Make It Rain“ completely convinced me to keep going. The melody is wild, the bass has that fancy, funky crescendo of layers, and the whole thing feels hypnotic. A perfect mix of soft lead and aggressive drop—the moment the party really starts.
