• Incredible fuse of genres
• Ear-candy vocals, memorable lyrics
• Unexpected team-up of two titans
Expecting collaboration of this magnitude wasn’t in my mind, at all. For a couple of years, I was greatly interested about the German duo Jewelz & Sparks until the last year or so. On the other hand, British duo Futuristic Polar Bears offered several hits and misses throughout the previous months yet adhering to Big Room passionately. Now forming a special synergy with Carly Lyn, the said group of artists have stunned us with an electrifying hybrid.
Damn, I wasn’t expecting that introduction! Loved how well-fitting the piano is among the ensemble, especially with Carly’s vocals! It is heart-warming and infectious, as the song remains one rude and brazen synth away from making this track into that “bad boy” jam. Rest of the build-up is incredible, perhaps inspired by the Future Rave and newer Electro House standards.
There comes the drop, with an amazing fusion of personalities that the quartette could be predicted with. An innovative melody swaggers around, presenting lots of minute transformations that contribute to the iconic sound from the German pair, for which they have become reputed for. Alright, I won’t write further and spoil the surprise, as the instrumental proves plenty!
So here’s my bold claim, hear me out: “Take Me Away” is one of my favourite songs from the genre, and probably the finest offered by the contemporary Maxximize. If you have somehow missed or skipped this one, this is a must hear for satisfying the festival music fanatic inside you.
