Among other landmark achievements, the hundredth release is always a significant and reminiscent milestone for a label… And upcoming assemblage Loca Recordings has just magnified it with a colossal collaboration between not two or three, but eight different acts from various parts of the globe! “We Rise Together” isn’t just a random assortment of names tied together: it’s an insane team-work of thirteen individuals along with a co-ordinator, who worked sequentially on the project, each taking their turns and hence adding a piece to the puzzle. The whole story behind this giant of synergy has been shared by The QR Network… In short, we got an exclusive look at the tasks performed by every artist:
ALEJANDRO – Vocals.
OUTRAGE – Break melody & plucks.
DRIIIFT & EMKR – First drop.
TBR – Second breakdown.
WYKO – Second drop.
Trictonez – Transitions, arrangement, edits on first drop & second breakdown.
Marnage – Mix & Master, final details and integration of vocals to the instrumental.
In our opinion, we found “We Rise Together” as a tune that proficiently manages to keep up a requisite coherence, which otherwise could have ended blotchy even if composed by so many personalities. The last drop by Wyko is our top preference, but the attention to detail on this is nothing short of astounding. Delving on the technicalities threatens brevity of this article, hence we won’t be devoting any further space to it.
Loca, in fact, had a troubled past with various change-overs and following abandonment. Currently, the team involved is not only professional and skilled, but the imprint seems to finally found a certain stability with them. This production symbolizes their constancy, either being the 100th release or an incredible exemplar of joint efforts.
Loca’s catalogue inclines towards Festival ready Big Room House, and its roster is composed of familiar faces and newfound talents. Undoubtedly there could be no better way to acclaim a label’s milepost: its methodologies are simply applaud-worthy.
Hosting such extensive teamwork is no child’s play, as we anxiously hope to see such ardour for creativity in the potential-laden record label in coming future!
