80/100

• Luscious female vocal as lead
• Engaging drop, well-selected synths
• Fair amounts of energetic signature sounds

For today’s platter, we have the brand new single from American dance music heavyweight KSHMR, who has unveiled his new production for the audience. Titled as “Magic”, this melodic instrumental is a refreshing progressive house song with alluring elements to substantiate the beat. Let us have a brief talk about this record released in Dharma Recordings (Sub-label of Spinnin’ Records), in the following couple of paragraphs.

Initiating the year with “House Of Cards“, an unexpected follow-up for the hit “Wildcard”, KSHMR progressed, even more, this year. Next in the line to this was “Carry Me Home” along with the talented vocalist Jake Reese. It is also interesting to note that KSHMR kept in balance with electro house and progressive, providing his fan-base with satisfactory singles of either styles and genre. Collaborating with native renowned artist 7 Skies, he revealed the bouncy and rhythmic “Neverland“. At the same time keeping his pace, he released “Good Vibes Soldier”, which was both charming and slightly radio-friendly work. He surely kept this year hectic with the songs, which upped his reputation to better levels.

Talking about this single, “Magic” initiates with an atmospheric breakdown. A luscious pitched female vocal materializes, leading this segment with the bright piano and pads.
Elevating things, the heavy saw synths hit, playing the melody hook with all intensity. Next, the brief snare riser takes up swiftly towards the dynamic and energetic drop. Impressing the ears with well-selected synth-line, all the components of this track stack up, working harmoniously to provide an effective drop. The signature sounds play their role as well, keeping up the stamina and dynamism of the lush and rushing drop.

Ultimately, it would be best to conclude that “Magic” certainly ropes all attention into it, making it yet another splendid production!
