When you discover that Jay Hardway and MOTi have teamed up in “Wired”, the expected result will surely be superlative.

That’s right.

The splendid progressive collaboration is a balanced solid piece of art, with a strong example of the two artists’ styles.

We have, first of all, a wonderful vocal by Babet, supported by a hybrid lead. The lead is very particular: it keeps the high pitched MOTi mood, but the Jay Hardway sweet vibes at the same time. That’s incredibly well balanced, it’s a perfect fusion of their styles.

This lead works pretty well, it even makes the vocal unnecessary! In fact, the second part of “Wired” is instrumental, a courageous but effective choice. The vibrant bassline makes its job perfectly too. Sure, Babet vocal is incredible, so that choice is a little weakness of “Wired”, but not a big loss, it’s almost hard to notice.

Needless to say that Jay Hardway delivered a stunning melody! His style is complex and emotional, maybe a bit hard to sense at the first listen… But after a couple of times, it becomes hypnotic.

“Wired” makes the styles’ balance its point of strength, but, if we forgive it, still remains a fabulous progressive tune.
Such important and unique artists didn’t miss in bringing their qualities without interfering with each other. The risk was, in fact, MOTi vibes preventing Hardway’s ones, but they solved the problem proficiently.

I personally hope to hear more in future from this curious duo, they worked really well together. Obviously, “Wired” becomes one of the best Spinnin’ Premium releases of 2017!
