Today I am reviewing a very interesting, dynamic and not to forget aggressive electro house remix of an alternative rock tune, titled “RagTop” by the Aussie band Naddiks. The remix has been crafted with precision by Yosef Flumeri.
The remix starts with momentum with a groovy intro, escalating and brimming with energy. The drop synths prop up rapidly to transition into the breakdown. It efficiently brings up the original track, bringing in punk rock vibes. I am really impressed by the way the track changes it pace, from an electro house intro to a rock breakdown. Splendid!
The riser comes in, and with perfect timing and pace increases the tempo to 128 and let the vigorous electro house drop do its magic.
The drop consists of an impressive big room screeching lead. Aggressive, strong, perfectly in line with the track but totally surprising. The drop’s melody perfectly fits in the context, and with a Dutch electro inspired melody, it brings a colossal amount of stamina.
The “Ragtop” remix is a perfect example of two different genres going well together. A colossal bouncy remix, completely unexpected and genially made. One of the most interesting productions of the month.
