Today I want to show you a track with a huge personality… and a kind of interesting story.
NIVIRO has just released “The Return” and I immediately fell in love with its incredible atmosphere, its powerful drop and the stunning quality level.
The style is remarkable, but I would classify it as bounce/electro house. From a certain point of view, it can remind you “The Spook Returns” by KHSMR, but there are many things to talk about here!
First of all, I want to underline the exceptional drop: explosive, dynamic, various and creative. This is how you make an electro drop, that was. The cherry on the top is the idea of the “carillon” creepy fill between the bars.
As you probably have understood when seeing the cover, the tune is about ghosts. I recommend checking the official video because it’s really well made (and pretty scary), and to focus on the break part.
With a revolutionary idea (using a euphemism), this young genius created a “horror” break, with a unique vocal type, a spooky piano lead and tons of personality. I loved it, especially when the electro saws start to kick in. Wow. Just, wow.
“The Return”, in addition, is the follow-up of a previous Niviro track, “The Ghost“.
I suggest checking it out too, it has a superb drop and it will help you better in understanding the story.
Yes, because NIVIRO not only shares some good music but he shared a story. I don’t have words for saying how much I respect him for that.
This young Dutch producer definitively impresses me, he’s always up with fresh ideas and an immensely high-quality level. Keep an eye on him!
